Bubu left to New Zealand.
March
3th -10th March was in KL spending time with my sister and bro in law. I really enjoyed my stay there.
12th March is such a memorable day yet terrifying one. It was the day my STPM result is announced at school. Dad followed me to take my results and it was one of my proudest moments ever. I did well and I was really happy. All glory should be given to God. I believe I did my part and He helped me out as well. I still got pretty annoyed with some people who said I did well because I was in arts stream. Well, it doesn’t mean if you’re in arts stream u get to sit and shake your legs before the exam. We work our butts off as well. So helloo, I work my butt off to get the results I achieved. So hell yeah! Im proud of it!!
14th March-Dilemma mode. Applying for uni can be so difficult. Different courses and different point of views from different people. Basically, I really wanted to do law but with my pointers which was not 4 flat. I hesitated. I just didn’t have the confidence to apply. So, I applied for TESL instead. My 1st choice TESL in UM and thank God I got it.
Besides applying for local university I also did applied for Star Education Scholarship.
April
This was the worst month of my life. Maybe it was just a turning point of my life. Don’t want to talk about it or elaborate on it.
18th April – I went for an interview at SEGI college, KL today for some scholarship that was offered by 8tv.
19th April – Since I applied for TESL I had to go for a MEDSI test. I took my test at Science School back in BM. I travelled all the way back from KL for this exam. I have to complete 300 questions in an hour. Thank God it was objective. But the questions were pretty lame.
I left everything up to God. I was totally drained because of some issues.
And YES.. I surrender…
24th April – Started working with my Uncle.
Bubu’s wedding preparation started. Wow, so many things to do and plan. Since the bride is in NZ.
May
The waiting period was tough. Well, after my MEDSI test they called and informed me that I am suppose to attend an interview at USM. So I went and the interview went on well. I know I’ll get a place in University but I’m just not sure where.
I manage to get the scholarship that I applied for at both Sunway College and Lim Kok Wing after passing the interview. This scholarship is under The Star Education Fund. It was a full scholarship. I was really excited but unfortunately dad and mum wanted me to go to local university. I was quite angry, frustrated and disappointed at first. But I got over it. So here I am. I guess I don’t regret it at all now I know there is a purpose why I am place there by God.
When for Christian Fellowship Camp at Cameron Highlands. I really thank God for this camp it was awesome and it did help me to move on.
June
Bubu came back from NZ her engagement will be on the 19th. University results came out. I did make the cut and yes I made it to University of Malaya. Well I was happy at least I made it to the University of my choice.
20th June – We the family decided to throw a dinner party for everyone on the night before the wedding. The food was delicious. I was basically the party planner. The food was catered from my friend’s mother. The bride and groom appeared for a while; they had dinner and left because they need to go for facial or something like that. So we all enjoyed with the cousins and everyone had a great time that night.
21st June – Bu’s wedding. Everything was in a rush. She had to do her makeup, hair, bla bla… It was really a tiring day. I was the bride’s maid. When they say bride’s MAID, trust me..u are really the MAID. It was a nice experience though. They got married and I am happy that everything turned out well. She got married with the man she loves and I trust God that he will take care for her.
A week or two after that, she left back to NZ with her husband.
Enrolled in university on the 29th of June. When my parents left me there I cried. Yes I did.
July
Orientation week was tiring and my muscles were aching from all the running, half stands and all the other stuff that we were asked to do.
Missed home badly.
18th July - I went for my first camp organized by the Digi which is actually under the university obviously.
Participated in so many activities in campus and college.
August
Participated in a Public Speaking competition but I didn’t win.
Got to know a lot of people at uni.
September
Assignments and more assignments.
October
21st October - I turned 20. My birthday was celebrated by friends at university. I had two birthday cakes this year.
November
Exams dilemma. I was really stressed and I really did study.
Thanks to Zhong Wen, Kai Chur, Shin Yen, Fei Mian for all the tips and wake up calls. I really appreciate it..u guys. I am 20 but I still need people to wake me up.
December
Uncle’s birthday party. Had an awesome time at Rawang, Selangor.
Christmas time again. It was a joyous and wonderful celebration this year. Everyone was there except for Bubu and Sumit.

Conclusion, I am glad things turn out the way He wanted. He always has His own reasons. A pastor once told me “We might not see things the way He sees it but what He sees is always best for us.” I really want to thank God for His favors in my life. Lord Jesus you have always been there for me even though I doubt your presence in my life sometimes. Year 2008 was full of new beginnings for me and my family, I thank you for fulfilling my needs and blessing my family. I am sure You have great things in store for me and my family in this new year of 2009. Thank U Jesus for everything in my life. Teach me how to appreciate what I have and know that I am blessed. In your name I pray, Amen.
