Envy..

My sis will be going to Gold Coast Australia...she just told me while skype-ing with her..!!! so i had to blog bout it!! Oh gosh wish i was there as well!!!

Wat happened?

Friday


I got up late in the afternoon..was still in college..decided to go out to mid valley with my friends.. So it was thanusha, tamil and i. We walked all the way to the bus stop and waited for the rapid to take us there. After half an hour of waiting the bus finally came. *sigh*

Arrived at mid valley, was walkin around buying stuff..actually Thanusha was buying stuff. So we decided to watch Madagascar 2. I totally enjoyed the movie. I think both Madagascar 1 and Madagascar 2 has it own quality of potraying its uniqueness. Both movies can make a person laugh his heart out..We when and ate mcd..and after the movie we when to carrefour coz i needed to get some stuff..

Left Mid valley at 8 something... When back to college feeling tired but filled with joy!!!

Later at nite, when for supper with my Seniors at 4th college..ate nasi goreng pattani and limau ais...Thanusha also joined us..


Saturday

it was my grandmama's bday celebration..nothing big...just us family..mum came all the way from penang though..erm, the food was great..they had (my uncle's house):

prawn sambal

mutton paratel

fried chicken

black pepper chicken

mixed vegetables

and of course the bday cake

my grandmama was happy because almost all her children was there..and her grandchildrens : like me n my sis was also there..tears of joy appeared when she cut her birthday cake..we are actually very close to our grandmother..and there is a bond between us (the 3 sisters) with our grandmother.. well we actually grew up at her house...she fed us, bathed us, and even bought us christmas presents..she also gave us money quietly during our visits to our uncle's house..she really took good care of us and love us a lot..i still remember she use to be strong enough to take the bus all the way to town with us..we will then go and eat the famous koay teow soup and soya bean in town..hehehhe...those were the days..the past will always be filled with memories..but my days and time spent with her..i will always cherish..

Well..had a boring day today...woke up late in the afternoon..felt kind of guilty because suppose to meet up with zhong wen for breakfast today..because she's goin back home to sarawak already..but i didnt even here the alarm ring also..sorry zhong wen.. anyway, i slept in my seniors room last nite..well u cant blame me!! my room mates all when back home already..and my corridor is so freaking quiet..it gives me the creeps..got up and when back to my room..tried packing up my stuff..but havent finished packing.

All of a sudden i got a phone call from sis saying that she will be getting me a laptop bagpack. I was super happy because i seriously wanted one as i will be travelling back to penang. Then i when down to the dewan makan to have my dinner. My sister called back again, asking me to come down and she'll pass me the bag. I when down, and they didnt even reach yet also =/
After few minutes they came, jie and prakash..I saw the bag and i like it but i didnt take it, i told her to take it back to home. I will get it from her later. She went for casting today and she got the role. Congratulations jie!! Im happy for you!! She will be working for the Pedigree brand(dog's food) commercial.

There is still no progress in my MKI project. I am preety annoyed with the Director. He seem to be taking things easy when we dont even have enough time to prepare. Im very disappointed with myself as well for not speaking up to him. I called Surreyn and he told me to give up and dont waste my time getting myself involve in this project. I told him i cannot because i am not that kind of person. I wont give up and i never will. I will do my best for this project for the Lord my God is with me.

My senior is using my laptop now. He is finishing up his assignment. The lecturer actually called up the group leader(my senior) and ask them to save their assignment in another format and e mail him the soft copy. Isnt that so ridiculous? Everyone is enjoying their holidays and suddenly u get a call saying that u have to redo ur assignment. He is using my laptop because his laptop cannot get connected to the internet. Well all I got to say is Jia You senior Vijaykumar!

Wow!! Time flies..my 1 semester of university life just ended...well it is just the beginning..coming to University of Malaya is God’s blessing in my life. I know there is a reason why He put me here. But I am yet to find out. Well, my 1st semester started off with my dad, mum, jie, and prakash sending me here to 7th residential college. It was an emotional day as I cried when they left. All of them also had tears in their eyes. I know I have to learn not to be dependent on them. We started off with orientation as we were all so blur about university life. One week of “Minggu Haluansiswa” was so tiring. Those sleepless nights still remains in my mind. The one week that they had was for us to adapt to university life. I made a lot of friends. We had to attend moral slot every morning. I joined the Indian community as the senior was taking good care of me and they helped me a lot. I was first placed in a room with malay girls but they helped me to transfer to another room. I really enjoyed my orientation week although we got scolding, sleepless nights, blisters on my leg, eye bags, and a darker skin tone.

After the orientation, being the usual me, I participated in so many activities, meet more seniors when they came back from their break, made more friends. Classes started and I got to know my lecturers and the subjects that I’ll be learning. All together we took 7 subjects for this semester.

Being class with a total of 24 students (I think..hehehe..not that sure) make us a small group compared to the previous year which had around 70 over students. I got to know my course mates and we work together trying to finish up our assignments deadline. My course mates are as wacky as me. I really enjoy myself being around them.

My semester officially ends on the last day of my exams that was on the 15th of November but I am still in college. I really thank God for guiding and being with me throughout my whole journey here. I know He will continue to guide me and be with me. I am looking forward for the next semester. There is definitely going to be more assignments and activities. But whatever I do I will continue to trust and seek Him.

i broke my record!!! i didnt sleep for more than 24 hours straight!! ya call me weird..but it was funny that i dont actually feel that sleepy..most probably because i have too many things on my mind..or im just to excited..yup! athough exams are over but i have to do so much of planning and get things done..well these are some off the things that i have to do:


1. Malam Kesenian India (MKI) preparations.

-ok, basically im the so called "assistant director of the project"
-so i have to be there for every meeting
-plan and prepare stuff
-and when is the MKI? oh ya, next sem. january
-we are still way behind scedule
-hope everything turn out well

2. mp4

-..sigh..havent played with my new toy yet
-the one jie gave me for my bday
-will try to find time to mess around with it today

3. Camp Preparations

-goin for two camps
-NGO, English Camp from the 21st till the 23rd
-helping out as a facilitator
-my church youth camp

4. Packing Up

-yup! i have to pack up all my things
-feeling lazy to pack up
-i have to clear the room
-i've gt so many things to take and go back
-thank God jie lives in puchong, just put everything there
-but compared to my friends my things arent tat much

that is basically it..i know there is more things to do but just cant think of it right now..

Yay!!!

exams are finally over..kind of disappointed coz i know i could have done better..

but its to late to regret now

..hehehe..

but im ok..at least i manage to answers all the questions in time..

the fun and enjoyment started after our exam X)

first we started taking pictures..

niway, after taking the pictures we took the taxi to mid valley which cost us rm4.40..

i was in the same cab as jared and amy..we were suppose to watch madagascar 2 but too bad the tickets were sold out =( but we made it a point that we have to watch a movie no matter what happens..kononnya release tension after exams...

zhong wen when and got the tickets..

we finally decided to watch a japanese movie which is called "10 Promises To My Dog".

niway, we decided to have our dinner first..

we had our dinner at Sushi King..yup, i ate there..

it was kind of nice actually.. X) enjoyed ourselves there..

erm, i ate piri piri chicken which is a set meal at sushi king..

my dinner cost me rm18.90 all together..

after dinner, we dropped by at mph!!

gosh, im so wan to get so many books from there..

well duh!! i short off cash as usual..

so didnt get any =( maybe on my next visit =)

then at 9 smthng we all gathered in front off gsc and when to watch our movie..

the movie was so touching and nice..

and everyone was so emotional..all the 9 of us who watched the movie cried.. =)

but the champion of the day was fei mian, and the 2nd runner up was me..

seriously the movie is an emotional movie..

and we were suppose to release tension but we watched a movie which made us more tension..but overall i would grade the movie as 7/10...

our movie ended arnd 10 smthing..

then we took the cab back to our college..

the taxi driver charged us rm12..

which was so expensive..

i really dnt knw y this people like digging ppl's pocket like this..

so lame la..

niway, we came back then when for supper at 3rd college..

i ate again, singapore bihun n drank "teh ais"...

then was feeling bored so i called my seniors..

they were at about to go supper as well so i joined them n went to 4th college.. X)

but didnt eat or drink..then headed back to college..at arnd 1 something..talked to senior vasu and tamil about Malam Kesenian India (MKI) till about 2 smthng..

and finally when back to my room and had my bath..

so yup that was my scedule for today..

had an awesome day!

yeah tats right i finished 6 papers..now im left with one more paper..

tat is introduction to methodology in literature education..

which will be on saturday at 3pm..today i had my writing about literature and physical education..erm, i just did what i knew and i just hope im able to score for this papers..

im suppose to be studying now..bt am onlining..

my coursemates might just be studying now..and here i am at our dewan makan, blogging x) Jared is with me here..enjoying my fellowship with him..

Calmness

Haven't been blogging due to exams

i suprise myself everytime

i really actually studied and gave my all

so i know i did my best..

had my linguistics paper today

it was great x)

we kind of did study group last night..zhong wen and chur chur helped me..

they taught me how to draw the tree strucutre thingy which didnt actually come out also.

but i was happy because i learned something new.

our study group ended around 11 something

had my dinner at 12 only..at seniors room..

then when back to my room and started studying again..

well it all started in my room..

I actually felt very peaceful yesterday..

dnt know why..bt it was just so amazing..

i think it was the presence of the holy spirit..

everything was peaceful and calm..maybe because i've been doing my quiet time consistently..

been reading the book of Job..very interesting book..

i have the urgency to get my life RIGHT with God!

havent been going to church which i actually feel so guilty n ashamed of myself.

i was always on fire for Him n i dont it to fade just because im at uni and not at my very own church..

I know I NEED HIM

He have always been there for me..through good and bad..and

I know He STILL LOVES ME no matter what..

I have to take the FIRST STEP because i know He is just a step away from me..

He is standing THERE I just have to REACH OUT to Him..

Semester Finals are here...

Four more papers to go. Hubungan etnik was kind of difficult as the answers were so close. I know i did my best though -.- Kemahiran maklumat was ok. sigh. i was actually so nervous on the 1st day of exam. We did our 1st paper at our Bangunan Peperiksaan. So was actually kind of nervous. We when early so we waitin outside of the hall. It was so hot. Then tat time only la i wanted to go to the toilet. Guess wat?The nearest toilet is the guys toilet. Lame rite..and we didnt even knw whr was the gals toilet. So i told Sangitha to jaga pintu while i go to the loo..LOL.. thank God no guys came in..if nt malu nye..then after our KM paper we wen n had lunch n did sme last minute revision at Dataran Perdanasiswa for our nxt paper. HE was confusing..lets nt talk bout it then..*sigh* After exams, we took the cab back to college as it was raining. My next aper, Linguistics is on the 11th. Hope i'll do good!

Prakash and Evelyn

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO JIE N PRAKASH!!!

5 years of being together yet their spark of love still can be seen clearly. Prakash was so sweet to actually go all the way to kl to buy a bunch of roses for jie jie. She was sleeping wen he came back to the house. So, he decided to wake her up and well ‘duh’ obviously she was surprised and was so excited like that. They came all the way to the hall n she was holding her roses and walking around with n telling Prakash how she loves him and all. Then Prakash was following her around and laughing at my sis which was still excited bout the roses.
